Family Fourteen
Two parent professional family need an Au Pair in Thurles. They have two kids, in particular a boy and a girl, aged 4-6. Ideally, they would be looking for a friendly, outgoing, flexible Au Pair. Ideally, they are searching for somebody who also loves the countryside.
Hours 35-40 hours
Pay €283-400 per week
Dates June for 12 months
Accommodation – Family fourteen
The family live in a large country house with plenty of ground to the front and rear. In addition, they have a gym that the Au Pair can use. The Au Pair’s bedroom is a large double bedroom overlooking the green countryside. Furthermore, the Au Pair will have a large wardrobe, a tv and WIFI.

The two parent family live in the countryside, about 19 km from Thurles, Co. Tipperary. This village has a population of nearly 8000 people. Moreover, the family are close to four larger towns and to Kilkenny city, which is about 40 minutes away. Furthermore, they are 1.5 hours from Dublin.
Kilkenny is famous for its medieval building and castle. The town is referred to as the “Marble City”. In addition, people from Kilkenny are often referred to as ‘Cats’. Kilkenny has had the status of city by the Royal Charter since 1609. Here, you will also be able to visit the Kilkenny Castle, live the Smithwick’s Experience (a famous brewing tour), visit St. Mary’s Cathedral etc.
Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland. Several attractions can be found in Dublin: the Dublin Zoo, St. Stephen’s Green or Phoenix Park. Another option is the Trinity College, where the Book of Kells is stored. In addition, you could visit the numerous museums: The Little Museum of Dublin, The National Gallery of Ireland, the National Museum of Ireland, Kilmainham Gaol (a popular site in the history of nationalism). You could also go see the two Cathedrals and Dublin Castle. Visiting the Guinness Storehouse is another fun and memorable option.
